Nursery Stud Farm. Reprint of Catalog And Account of Sale and Dispersion of the Nursery Stud: Presented to "Elbora Davison" (hand written) with compliments Perry Belmont, August Belmont, Oliver Belmont. ND/NP (ca 1893). 4to. Seven fine prints and numerous charts. Five band gold embossed and decorated black morocan spine and tips with faux burgundy morocan boards, gold embossed vertical red banners across boards. The boards, red banner and tips are original, the new spine uses morocan leather matching the original tips and imitates the original spine with the same number and manner of bands and decorations. Decorated silk end papers. The text includes a description of the presale, sale and post sale. The sale was compared to Lord xxxx of England and his sale 10 years previous. For the major horses sold, their winnings the year before the sale was presented, their sale price, and their winnings in the year following the sale. Full page charts outline the bloodline of each horse. A narrative also accompanies each horse. Fine prints in excellent condition of August Belmont, and six horses:St Blaise, Ill Used, Carina, Magnetism, Princess, and Susquahanna.
